A two-car crash in Huntington Station on Sunday afternoon led to one of the vehicles slamming into a home, authorities said.
Officials say that shortly after 1 p.m., a Jeep Cherokee and a Nissan Altima collided, resulting in the Altima crashing into a home on East 23 Street.

One driver was injured and transported to Huntington Hospital by the Huntington Community First Aid Squad, officials said.
The Huntington Manor Fire Department was on the scene with an engine and two heavy rescue trucks, under the command of Chief Fred Steenson, Jr., and assistant chiefs Frank McQuade and Jon Hoffmann, according to officials.

The Town of Huntington building inspector was requested to check the structural damage to the home, officials said.
