Duo Steals $5K Worth Of Sunglasses From Walt Whitman Mall: Police

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the pair who Suffolk police said stole sunglasses from a Huntington Station store earlier this month.

A man and woman entered LensCrafters, located within the Walt Whitman Mall, at around 10:15 a.m. Aug. 7 and stole multiple pairs of sunglasses, police said. The merchandise was valued at approximately $5,000. The duo is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
