Duo Stole Over $15K Worth Of Designer Accessories From Mall: SCPD

Police are investigating the theft that occurred at the Walt Whitman Mall on Tuesday afternoon.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY - Suffolk Police are seeking two men who stole over $15,000 worth of designer accessories from a store in the Walt Whitman mall Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, two black men wearing hats, scarves, sunglasses and gloves entered the Louis Vuitton store inside Saks Fifth Avenue in the mall at 230 Walt Whitman Road at 3:25 p.m.

The men took six Louis Vuitton handbags and accessories, valued at more than $15,000, and left the store without paying.

They then fled in an unknown vehicle. The investigation is continuing.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
