Poets, pagans, performers, and all people of good will are invited to join together in celebration of the Autumnal Equinox and the Bardic Tradition. Paumanok Island Protogrove of Ar nDraiocht Fein presents the First Annual "Bardic Night by Firelight" on Friday, September 21 from 8 p.m. to Midnight at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington. Bring your creative performances (poetry, songs, stories, etc) or just come to gather 'round the fire and watch! Evening will begin with an Equinox Ritual in the Druidic tradition of Ar nDraiocht Fein (www.adf.org), followed by super-talented featured poets Charles Peter Watson and Ed Luhrs at 9 p.m. and an open stage for all wishing to perform. Evening will feature a Dessert Revel plus coffee, tea and juices. The Protogrove will be collecting new young adult and children's books at the event for donation to children in need.
