Jerrilyn Foster-Julian thanked her neighbors in Huntington Station. She said, "I am so grateful for my neighbors in our court. They are always there to help each other. They are kind, caring and thoughtful." - Town Board expected to take up Matinecock Court development. The decades-old Matinecock Court housing battle returns to the Huntington Town Board tonight for another vote. The meeting starts at 7 tonight, at Town Hall. Councilman Ed Smyth states, “My biggest objection is that this is a deception perpetrated on the public. This is a rental project,” Smyth said Monday. “The limited equity given as a down payment is really a security deposit.” The opposition claims it will add increased traffic and inundate the Northport and East Northport school district.(http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
