First Aid Squad Collects Goodies for Huntington Family Struck by Fire

The Huntington Community First Aid Squad came to the rescue of a Huntington family for the second time this year.

The Huntington Community First Aid Squad came to the rescue of a Huntington family for the second time this year when they presented them with over $800 in various items at the sixth annual Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter’s Toy Drive on Saturday.

HCFAS net the Taylor family when they responded to a fire at the Whitman Village complex, located on Lowndes Avenue in Huntington Station, on Nov. 13.

Multiple homes had fire damage, including the residence of James and Angie Taylor, and their three children.

HCFAS volunteers held a collection for the Taylor’s at the Huntington Station Latin Quarter’s Toy Drive and paramedic Richard Rudolph presented the family with plenty of goodies, including toys, gift cards, toiletries and clothing.
