"Ginkgoa" World Music Pop/Rock and Jazz From France
Huntington Summer Arts Festival at Heckscher Park Huntington Village – July 14
Ginkgoa is a French/American Pop Electroswing band that has made it their mission: to make generations of people dance, sway, and sing along to melodies that mix French songs with an American vibe, and American songs with a French touch. Founded in Paris in 2010 by Nicolle Rochelle (American singer, author and dancer) and Antoine Chatenet (French composer and producer), alongside drummer Grégory D’Addario, bassist Anne-Colombe Martin and clarinetist, keyboardist Corentin Giniaux, they offer a unique twist on traditional pop music.
The group is best known for their first single "From New York to Paris”, which has become the anthem of the perfume company ROCHAS for their European campaign. Today, GINKGOA is preparing to drop their first album towards the end of this year.
For a night of lively, cross-cultural, fun, come see Ginkgoa on Thursday, July 14th @ 8:30pm, at the Chapin Rainbow stage in Hecksher park, Huntington!
