  1. Greenlawn concert scheduled for May 20 to benefit Ukranian charities. "Nataliya Medvedovskaya, a pianist and composer who is Russian, and Veronica Kaninska, a soprano who is Ukrainian, will perform a mix of music, including Russian, Ukrainian and international classical works." The concert is free and will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church. (Huntington Now)
  2. Huntington High School alum Jared Leake joins New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. The defensive back will compete for a spot on the roster at New York's rookie camp. "Jared has had the goal of playing in the NFL since early in his career, so it’s great to see his hard work and commitment earn him this opportunity,” said Hobart head coach Kevin DeWall. “With focus on training his body and improving his skill set, he developed into a top cornerback in the Northeast and a very important piece in our team success the last two seasons. Jared is eager to compete and showcase his abilities to prove he is worthy of the opportunity. (Greater Long Island)
  3. ICYMI: Police searching for missing teen last seen in Syosset on May 11. Jenna Ceruti, 15, was reported missing Thursday by the staff of MercyFirst, a social service agency in Syosset. She was last seen Wednesday at 6 p.m. and police are asking anyone with information on Ceruti's whereabouts to call 516-573-7347 or 911 (Patch)
