Greenlawn Firefighter Holds Food Drive for Veterans in Need

There are over 50 families with young children that could benefit from this donation drive.

A Greenlawn volunteer firefighter and U.S. Army veteran Albert Statton is holding a food collection drive to assist veterans in need this holiday season.

These donations are especially necessary during the holiday season when food supplies are low and veterans needs are forgotten.

Statton, a three-time cancer survivor, was getting treatments at the Northport VA Medical Center when he learned that the Salvation Army Food Pantry was severely short on items.
