2. Official: Residents of 3 VA buildings went week without hot water. Residents of three Northport VA Medical Center buildings, including a homeless shelter, went a week without hot water because of a pipe repair project. Managers blamed the mishap on 'aging infrastructure.' (Subscription: Newsday)
