Huntington Crime: Man Threatens Victim With Knife, Punches Them

An assault, violations of restraining orders, drunk boating and possession of loaded weapons round out this week's Huntington arrests: SCPD.

HUNTINGTON, NY—Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from June 30 through July 6.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.

  • David Walshon, 32, of Greenlawn, allegedly made repeated phone calls to someone who had an order of protection against him, went within a certain number of feet of the person and disobeyed a court order, and was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal contempt and two counts of second-degree criminal contempt on July 6.
  • Yonis Estrada, 27, of Huntington Station, allegedly possessed a loaded firearm in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon on July 5.
  • Neisha Feliciano, 31, of Jamaica, allegedly left the scene of a car crash in Huntington, and was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage on July 5.
  • Edgar Jimenez, 37, of Central Islip, allegedly had a Florida fake ID, as well as a passport and debit card of someone with a different name, and was arrested and charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property on July 4.
  • John Ehrlich, 30, of Huntington, allegedly squeezed someone very tight and then verbally threatened them, and was arrested and charged with second-degree harassment: physical contact and fourth-degree criminal mischief on July 4.
  • Kevin Hewson, 35, of Huntington Station, allegedly violated a valid stay-away order and had a weapon in his car, and was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon on July 4.
  • Aaron Tarkin, 32, of Huntington Station, allegedly drove an unregistered boat while drunk in Northport Bay, and was arrested and charged with operating a vessel while intoxicated and a vessel violation on July 4.
  • Louis Gonzalez, 41, of Huntington Station, allegedly possessed half an ounce of cocaine and intended to sell, crack cocaine, Oxycodone pills and marijuana, and was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug with intent to sell, fourth-degree criminal possession of a narcotic, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession, unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal use of drug paraphernalia on July 3.
  • Karan Advani, 30, of Port Jefferson Station, allegedly possessed a loaded glock and was found to have slurred speech, be confused and unsteady on his feet when he was pulled over, and was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs on July 3.
  • George Tayler, 59, of East Northport, allegedly pulled a knife and threatened to cut someone with it and used the knife to damage the victim's passenger window, and was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing and criminal mischief on July 2.
  • James Sambolin, 28, homeless, allegedly entered a home he was told to stay out of on Nutwood Road while knowing the homeowner, disobeying a court order in the process, and was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal contempt on July 2.
  • Noe Rodriguez, 23, of Huntington Station, allegedly threatened someone with a knife and punched them in the face multiple times, injuring them, and was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing and third-degree assault on June 30.
