- A Dix Hills home was broken into on March 17 but was reported on Monday to police. Two designer handbags were stolen after someone forced their way into the Black Oak Court home. Cash and jewelry were also stolen from the home. (Patch)
- Patrick Godfrey Jr. graduated Harborfields in 2015 and went on to play football for four years at Clemson University as an offensive lineman. Godfrey walked on to the team and received a full scholarship, winning two national championships. He spoke to 15 student-athletes who are continuing their athletic careers at the college level. - Huntington Animal Shelter: If you remember from a previous weekly update on adoptable animals, we had Hunter. Hunter was adopted and is doing great in his new home and definitely loves his family. Take a look at the picture in the link! (Facebook)
- Helping Hand Rescue Mission: Helping Hand wants to thank Lidl for giving them the cheapest price on milk and eggs. Huntington Jewish Center will also be donating 4,000 pounds of vegetables next week as well. (Facebook)
- Huntington Union Free School District: The Huntington varsity boys' tennis team opened its season with a 7-0 win over North Babylon. The team looks to improve on its 6-4 season last year with a condensed schedule due to COVID-19. (Facebook)
