- East Northport business burglarized. The police are looking for information on the burglary that took place at Atlantis Auto Repair back in November. The thief broke in around 1:30 a.m. on the 22nd and stole a safe and inspection stickers. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Patch)

- Town Board approved bond on Tuesday for Walker Park improvements. The Huntington Town Board approved up to $1.2 million in bonding to improve the park. The changes and money will go towards a new playground, renovated basketball court, art, trees, adult workout equipment, and more. "An “Alfred J. Walker Art Walk” will feature Walker's cartoons and art as well. “The family conveyed this was the most important aspect of the proposed improvements,” said town spokeswoman Lauren Lembo.
