- Man stole credit cards from a locker in Commack Planet Fitness. The theft occurred on July 22, where the suspect stole the cards out of a locked locker, and later used them at Walmart. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. There is a clear picture of the suspect in the link. (Patch)
- Cooling centers will operate through Sunday and beach access will be free. Lifeguards will also be at beaches until 7 p.m. Cooling centers are open to all residents, and you can click the link to see where they are located. (Huntington Now)
- Aug. 5 Suffolk Arrest Report. Take a look at all the arrests made in Suffolk County recently. More specifically, you can see arrests made in the Second Precinct which covers the Town of Huntington. If you have information on a crime, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Patch)
