1. 'Final Call' to perform in Huntington Friday night. The band originated in Huntington and will play at Finley's from 9:30 to 11 p.m., celebrating their debut album. "We are extremely excited not only to release our debut full-length album but also to play a headlining show in the town that we all met in the first place," lead guitarist Diem told Patch. "We really pride ourselves on putting on energetic and entertaining live shows that incorporate both our originals and pop-punk classics, so we're pumped to be playing at a place like Finley's, where we will have to opportunity to share our new music and expand our fan base in an environment that is fun as hell. We can't wait to sing, dance, and party with you all!" (Huntington Patch)
2. MB Ramen planning on opening new location in Port Washington. The Huntington Village Ramen joint has had a ton of success with their cool vibes and fresh, quick and plentiful portioned food. Their design in the store, on the website, and the hip-hop music blaring gives them a cool vibe as well. The Machado brothers announced they will be opening another location in Port Washington, but no details have been given yet. (LongIsland.com)
