Here are the top 3 stories in Huntington today:

  1. Wow House: $2M Huntington equestrian dream home. Our wow house of the week is this beautiful 2-acre property located at 549 Park Ave. The home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, and the property is truly beautiful. The property comes equipped with a four-stall barn, tack room, and a riding stall. This is the perfect home for an equestrian family. (Huntington Patch)
  2. Finnegan's Restaurant & Tap Room's unique old-fashioned. Finnegan's has been a staple in Huntington village for years. In honor of the St. Patrick's Day Parade today, check out this piece on their Old-Fashioned drink. “I came up with this version of the old-fashioned because I wanted a warmer and a little bit softer flavor to this old-time favorite,” says Dan Leopold, bartender at Huntington Village’s Finnegan’s Restaurant & Tap Room, which offers traditional pub fare, craft beer, and classic cocktails. “The cinnamon really changes the dynamic, by hitting your taste buds and warming your insides, before the punch of the bourbon hits you. It really makes for a great sipping cocktail on a cold day.” (Long Island Press)
  3. ICYMI: A man was seriously injured in Melville on Friday morning when he injured his arm after falling off a conveyor belt. This happened at Rason Asphalt on Spagnoli Rd. The 26-year-old man is being treated for serious injuries after being airlifted to an unnamed Nassau hospital. (Patch)
