1. Police nab 8 for DWI in Huntington Station checkpoint Friday night. The checkpoint took place on New York Ave. and Church St. from 11:20 p.m. to 2 a.m. A total of 293 vehicles were stopped for sobriety checks and you can see who was arrested in the link. (Huntington Patch)

3. ICYMI: Duo distracts woman in Lidl parking lot and steals her wallet from her vehicle. The incident happened last Thursday shortly after 11 a.m. when one man distracted the woman while another stole her wallet. The duo later used her credit card at a Home Depot in East Northport and another Home Depot in Commack. (News 12 Bronx)
