  1. How close are Huntington area hospitals to capacity? Latest. As positive COVID-19 cases skyrocket on Long Island, we will continue to update you on all virus-related numbers. That includes Huntington Hospital's capacity limits. The good thing about the Omicron variant is that compared to case numbers, hospitalizations are low. Huntington Hospital has 77% of their inpatient beds occupied, with 22% occupied by COVID-19 patients. 75% of ICU beds are occupied with 20% of those being COVID-19 patients. (Huntington Patch)

Overdoses were at an all-time high, and just as the country was getting a handle on the Opioid epidemic, things have gone backwards.
