  1. Police looking for duo who stole Amazon tablets from Target on June 22. The pair stole the tablets at 6 p.m., and they were valued at $350. There is a picture of the suspects in the link and if you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (LongIsland.com)
  2. Airbnb cracks down on rental parties. A representative said, "We believe there is a direct correlation between our implementation of the policy in August 2020 and a 44 percent year-over-year global drop in the rate of party reports. We’ve seen even more success in New York, where there’s been a 62 percent year-over-year drop in party reports." Gatherings of 16 or more people are considered parties, according to Airbnb.   3. Man arrested for painting a swastika on Lee Zeldin campaign sign in Huntington. Vincent J. Mckie, 41, of Huntington, also painted "187" and "Gambino" on the sign. "187" is slang for murder and also police code for a homicide. The sign was located on the corner of W. Pulaski and Oakwood roads. Mckie was charged with first-degree aggravated harassment (a hate crime), and fourth-degree criminal mischief. (Huntington Patch)
