  1. Huntington Police blotter: Man had stolen credit card. These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Jan. 23 through Jan. 29. Damian Hernandez, 20, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, was found to have a Visa card belonging to someone else while in Huntington Station at 9 a.m. Jan. 27, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: possession of credit card on Jan. 27. (Huntington Patch)
  2. Netflix series with 'Breaking Bad' star Giancarlo Esposito films in Huntington. Netflix's upcoming show "Jigshaw" continues to film on Long Island, with a pawn shop in Huntington being featured. A “Jigsaw” production crew spent an entire day last week recording material at the Gold Coast Jewelry & Pawn shop in Huntington, according to Shmit Yuabov, who owns together with Anthony Cutrone. Yuabov added that production crews parked trucks in the Dix Hills Diner parking lot the previous evening. It was a perfect setup for the show's plot which is centered around a $70M jewelry heist.   • Town of Huntington: If you have a public right-of-way in front of your business or home, please remember that it is the responsibility of the property owner/tenant to clear snow from the sidewalk within a specific timeframe after snowfall ends to ensure the availability of a safe pathway for pedestrian traffic.   • Huntington Union Free School District: It was one of the strangest games in a long time and one of the lowest scoring in 60 years for the Huntington boys’ basketball team, which edged North Babylon on Friday night, 35-32 at Walt Whitman.
