  1. Melville-based John's Crazy Socks celebrates 5 years in business with weekend open house. John's Crazy socks will have a pop-up house party at its warehouse today . The company has created over 3,000 socks, but prides itself in hiring 32 people with different abilities. They want to show what people with abilities can do, and to spread happiness. The event is at 11 a.m. and will have games, giveaways, and a visit from Santa. (News 12 Bronx)
  2. Priciest home sales in Northport. The three priciest homes sold in Northport last month ranged from $995k to $1.5M. Northport is just Northeast of Huntington, and offers a great town, beautiful harbors, and a great downtown area. The town also boasts some of the best restaurants around, including Robke's and Vespa. (Long Island Business News)
  3. Huntington Chamber celebrates the holidays. Members of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce celebrated the holidays Thursday night with a party at its Main Street office.
