A 7-year-old girl identified as Katlyn Pineda was critically injured in a near drowning accident at the Marriott Melville Long Island hotel. Suffolk County police officials are saying that the accident took place around 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, January 13th. A relative of Katlyn Pineda found her unresponsive in the Marriott pool.
