- ICYMI: Gov. Kathy Hochul gives green light for to-go drinks for 3 years. As part of the 2023 budget, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that bars and restaurants can sell to-go drinks at "appropriate" limitations for three years. "New York's nightlife and hospitality industry is second to none, and by allowing the sale of to-go drinks we will continue to support the industry's recovery from the pandemic," Hochul said. "Cheers to both Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Speaker Carl Heastie for their help in making this change, which will drive business for the hospitality industry and be a lifeline, helping them comeback stronger than before." - Greenlawn Civic Association: The Greenlawn Civic Association held its Sip & Stroll event this past weekend in town. They thank everyone involved and check out the group picture in the link. (Facebook)
- Huntington Union Free School District: Huntington boys' lacrosse beats Commack 16-7. That gives the Blue Devils four wins in a row in league play. Robbie Smith had six points (4G,2A) to lead the team. (Facebook)
