🌱 Huntington Daily: Man Arrested In Dix Hills + Strong Storms Monday

  1. Ronkonkoma man charged in burglary spree. "Police said Robert Blackmore, 54, who was arrested Friday night by detectives on the Long Island Expressway in Dix Hills, would grab rocks and throw them at businesses throughout Long Island in order to break into them and steal cash." He was responsible for numerous break-ins that had residents and business owners concerned for months and his crime locations ranged from Patchogue to Commack. (Patch)
  2. Weather will finally cool down this week. After a brutal heat wave which saw either a heat advisory or air quality alert in place every day last week, strong storms Monday afternoon will cool down the air. Expect temperatures to drop down to the 80s all week, with less humidity. (Weather.com)
  3. Northport Public Library to hold Job Fair Wednesday. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to noon and there will be companies from a variety of industries in attendance. Get your resume ready and head to the library Wednesday. (TBR News Media)
