- Man shot to death after opening door at his Huntington Station home. Roquez Villalba-Jimenez, 32, heard a knocking at his door at 11:35 p.m. Saturday. He answered the door and was shot and killed at his East 12th Street home. There are no suspects and police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. - ICYMI: People to get free rides on the Town of Huntington's HART Bus for one week in September. The week is set for Sept. 19 through Sept. 24 and is meant to promote ridership. “The Town of Huntington is a leader in sustainable and climate-smart initiatives and HART Bus’ Free Fare Week is another way to go green while simultaneously reducing commuting costs,” Supervisor Ed Smyth stated.
