  2. Man, 35, killed in Melville crash. A man was killed early Thursday morning when his car struck a box truck parked on the shoulder of Ruland Road, Suffolk County police said.
    Steven Zaug, 35, of Massapequa Park was driving north on Route 110 at 4:03 a.m. when his vehicle struck the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. (http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
  3. Clean Pass rules to Change in February. Do you have a single-occupant HOV lane pass? The rules will be changing in Feb. for what cars will be able to get the sticker for the HOV lane. The stickers will only be issued to owners of plug-in electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, as of Feb.1. (http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
  4. Smaller Huntington eateries could serve alcohol if town approves code change.Some smaller eating establishments may soon be able serve alcohol in the Town of Huntington. The town board is considering amending its definition of food shop to make such establishments eligible to serve alcohol for on-site consumption. Currently food shop establishments are banned from such service under town zoning code. This would be great additional income for businesses like the to-go drinks served during the pandemic.
