- Services scheduled for Dix Hills native Michael J. Lyons, retired FDNY captain. Lyons had a historic career in the FDNY, praised for his heroic efforts on 9/11. He was 53. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.at M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington Station. The funeral mass is scheduled for Monday at 11 a.m. at St Elizabeth’s Church in Melville.(Huntington Now)
