  2. ICYMI: Lloyd Harbor man arrested after driving drunk and crashing with three girls in vehicle. Matthew Giblin, age 51, of Lloyd Harbor, struck a concrete barrier on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway while three children were inside of the vehicle, Nassau County Police said. He then dropped the 13-year-old girls off on the side of the road and left. Police tracked him down and he faces multiple charges. (Daily Voice)
  3. Town of Huntington receives second post-pandemic AAA bond rating from Moody's Investors Services. “Huntington has long maintained its AAA bond rating; conservative budgeting practices combined with shrewd planning prepared us for the global pandemic, which earned the Town this second post-pandemic AAA rating,” said Supervisor Ed Smyth. “We appreciate Moody’s for their astute analysis and continued recognition of the Town’s meticulous fiscal practices that will continue to reduce the burden on the taxpayer while providing cost-effective services.” (Town of Huntington)
