1. 9/11 candlelight vigil to be held by Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department. The ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Cold Spring Harbor Firemen's Park on Main Street. This is the 21st anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. (Huntington Patch)
2. LIE lanes westbound to be closed overnight starting next week. The closures will be from State Route 454/Veterans Memorial Highway to Route 231 and will be from 8:30 p.m. - 5 a.m. That includes the Town of Huntington, so be prepared for nighttime delays. (Huntington Now)
3. Smoothie King opens its second Long Island location in Melville. Customers can redeem a free smoothie on its website and only applies to the Melville location. (Patch)
