  1. Weather outlook for the week ahead looking great. After the abysmal weekend of weather, it looks like warmer weather will finally be here to stay. The sun will be shining all work week, with temperatures steady near 70 degrees. After 36 hours of rain Friday-Saturday, we can all use some nice weather this week.
  2. Moving and curious how to throw out your trash? Check out these tips. Up to six gallons of trash are allowed to be put at the curb for garbage collection. For more information, see the Town of Huntington's website. (http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
  3. ICYMI: New hotel opens on former Town Hall property. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Thursday, where town officials welcomed the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. Town Councilwoman Joan Cergol said, "Congratulations to George Tsunis and family for taking on this important redevelopment project that has so beautifully re-purposed the iconic and historic former Huntington Town Hall building to meet the needs of residents and visitors to our great town. This is truly one of Huntington's most stunning examples of adaptive re-use and I am so proud to have had a hand in bringing it across the finish line." (Huntington Now)
