Huntington - Harborfields - Centerport Natives bring FLG Lacrosse to the next level!

Huntington - Harborfields - Centerport talent proves to hold a big key to the success of FLG Lacrosse!

Another great summer season has come to a close for FLG Lacrosse!

With the amount of Huntington - Harborfields - Centerport talent, it's no surprise that this summer was a successful one for the ladies of FLG Lacrosse

Celia Argiriou, Francesca DiSpigna, Lauren Hutton, Amanda MacDonald, Rachel Petti, Caitlin Tucker and Desiree Kleberg were huge factors for the 2019(516 and 2019(631) teams.

Celia and Francesca ran the midfield line for their team this summer proving important for the transition. Rachel and Lauren continuously found their teammates open in the 8 to aid the team offensively while Caitlin and Amanda held it down defensively and between the pipes. Caitlin stepped up to play midfield in oppressive heat when injuries sidelined some of her teammates - while Amanda switched her equipment out to play some field when her team needed it the most. Desiree was irreplaceable for her 2019(631) team - her first step and shiffty moves seemed un-guardable all summer.

Bella Annunziata, Nellie Klein, Shannon Polk, Amber Stieve and Erin Tucker showed their talent for the 2018 team this summer. Bella was a rock offensively quarterbacking her teammates to victory along with Nellie. Old Dominion University commit Amber and Shannon were unstoppable on the draw and were huge in their teams transitions. The girls played both sides of the field all summer coming up big for their team. Brown Commit Erin Tucker was once again ruthless between the pipes. The soon to be Division 1 goalie proved time and time again just how clutch she is.

Sylvanna Polito and Manhattan commit Grace Steinthal dominated the goal and defensive end of the field for the last time this summer. Sylvanna continues to be a force in the cage while Grace's lock down defense sets her apart. FLG will miss these two next season, but we look forward to watching them throughout their college careers!
