Huntington Moves Flags To Half-Staff To Honor Dead In Buffalo Shooting
"Evil exists in this world; we must stand united against it and not focus on what divides us," Supervisor Ed Smyth said.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Supervisor Ed Smyth ordered flags on Town of Huntington properties to be flown at half-staff on Monday to honor the lives lost in the Saturday shooting that killed 10 people in a Buffalo supermarket, according to the town.
“The Town of Huntington stands with the families of the victims and the Buffalo community as they mourn the tragic, unnecessary loss of innocent life in Saturday's hate-driven shooting,” said Smyth said. “Evil exists in this world; we must stand united against it and not focus on what divides us. God bless the victims, their families and the Buffalo community.”
At least 10 people were killed by a gunman carrying a rifle and wearing body armor at a Tops Market grocery store in Buffalo on Saturday, according to a report from The Associated Press citing anonymous law enforcement officials.
