Huntington Police Blotter: $10K In Powertools Stolen
ALSO: A 2020 Acura MDX was stolen, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from June 12 through June 19.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- June 19: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Third Avenue in Huntington Station at 12:30 a.m. Someone stole a 2020 Acura MDX, police said.
- June 17: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington from June 16 at 7 p.m. Someone stole $10,000 worth of power tools, hand tools and a laptop from a vacant construction site at 350 Walt Whitman Road, police said. The burglar(s) drilled out the locks on the backdoors of the building, police said.
- June 16: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Bouton Road in Lloyd Harbor at midnight. Someone used a rock to shatter the glass window of a woman's home office and stole her Louis Vuitton handbag, which held credit cards, police said.
- June 13: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Landing Road in Huntington from April 8 at 10 a.m. Somebody stole $2,600 worth of jewelry from a house, police said.
