Huntington Police Blotter: 2 Men Charged With Gang Assault

The two Huntington men were part of a group that kicked and punched another person in the head, face and body: SCPD.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from Aug. 26 to Aug. 31.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Lillian Kristiansen, 23, of Centerport, was involved in an accident resulting in damage to a guardrail and telephone pole in Huntington and drove away before exchanging information, and was arrested and charged with operator leave scene property damage accident on Aug. 31, police said.
  • Thomas Vulpis, 26, of Glen Cove, damaged a fence and a street sign in Huntington and drove away without reporting it, and was arrested and charged with operator leave scene property damage accident on Aug. 31, police said.
  • Williams, Shakia, 37, of Hempstead, stole merchandise from Saks Fifth Avenue in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property over $1,000 on Aug. 29, police said.
  • Melvin Jones, 48, of Huntington Station, stole assorted household goods from the Walmart located at 3990 Nesconset Highway, East Setauket and five electric leaf-blowers from the Home Depot in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with two counts of petty larceny on Aug. 26, police said.
  • Emilio Atenciosale, 26, of Glen Cove, crashed into a utility pole in Huntington and drove off without making a report, and was arrested and charged with operator leave scene property damage accident on Aug. 26, police said.
  • Tyriek Johnson, 25, of Huntington Station, and Kyree Johnson, 20, of Huntington Station, were part of a group that kicked and punched another person in the head, face and body, and were arrested in Huntington and each charged with first-degree gang assault on Aug. 26, police said.
