Huntington Police Blotter: 2 Women Steal $2,700 Worth Of Sandals

One of the women had metal knuckles on her, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from June 20 through June 25.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Sierra Nieves-Goncalves, 21, of Quincy, MA, stole CHANEL sandals and DIOR sandals with a combined value of $2,700 from Saks Fifth Avenue in South Huntington with someone else, police said. Nieves-Goncalves had metal knuckles on her during the theft, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon: firearm/weapon on June 20.
  • Destiny Destine, 23, of Boston, MA, stole CHANEL sandals and DIOR sandals with a combined value of $2,700 from Saks Fifth Avenue in South Huntington with someone else, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 on June 20.
