Huntington Police Blotter: 2018 Land Rover Stolen
The key fob was left running in the car, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from May 1 through May 7.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- May 7: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Drohan Street in Huntington at 5:18 p.m. Someone went into an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet containing cash, credit cards, and gift cards, police said.
- May 6: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station from May 4 at 2:30 p.m. A woman cut the security tag on a Saint Laurent purse and stole it from Saks Fifth Avenue, police said.
- May 5: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington from May 3 at noon. JW Hirschfeld Agency received a notification from its bank that one of its checks was fraudulently cashed, police said.
- May 4: Grand larceny (second-degree) was reported on Woodland Drive in Huntington Bay from May 3 at 11 p.m. Someone stole a 2018 Land Rover that was parked in the driveway with the key fob inside the car, police said.
- May 3: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 7 p.m. Someone stole perfume from Ulta Beauty, police said.
