Huntington Police Blotter: Drugs Found In Man's Home
ALSO: Another man was driving even though his license had been suspended 30 times on 12 different dates, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Feb. 7 through Feb. 13.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Gary Gentry, 49, of Huntington, was found to have cocaine, marijuana and scales at his Huntington Station home when police searched it at 6 a.m. Feb. 12, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: cocaine and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana on Feb. 12.
- Robert James, 39, of Huntington Station and Mastic Beach, drove a 2001 Jeep with an Ohio paper temporary plate southbound on Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station while his license plate was suspended or revoked 30 times on 12 different dates, police said. He was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation: 10 or more suspensions and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana on Feb. 12.
