Huntington Police Blotter: Equipment Stolen From Trailer

ALSO: A person or people tried to steal 41 pieces of Ralph Lauren Polo clothes, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from April 2 through April 8.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • April 8: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 2:21 p.m. Someone tried to steal 41 pieces of Ralph Lauren Polo clothes from Macy's, police said. All of the clothing was recovered, police said.
  • April 4: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on First Avenue in Huntington Station at 2 p.m. Equipment was stolen from a Cargo Express trailer in a parking lot after the door was cut, police said.
  • April 3: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 2:06 p.m. Five items of clothing were swiped from Bloomingdale's, police said. The person or people who stole the clothes then fled, police said.
