Huntington Police Blotter: Husband And Wife Stole From 2 Marshalls

ALSO: Men arrested in connection with selling drugs; woman accused of stealing $5,400 worth of dresses and blouses, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from March 11 through March 17.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • March 16: Djelloul Mosba, 42, of Astoria, while working with his wife, Fatima Otmanetani, 41, of Astoria, stole $1,490 worth of clothing, shoes, luggage and other items from Marshalls Department store in Stony Brook at 2:20 p.m. March 16, police said. Mosba and Otmanetani then stole $1,630 worth of clothing, shoes, houseware and other items from a Marshalls in Melville at 3:39 p.m. March 16, police said. Mosba was arrested and charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property over $1,000.
  • March 16: Fatima Otmanetani, 41, of Astoria, while working with her husband, Djelloul Mosba, 42, of Astoria, stole $1,490 worth of clothing, shoes, luggage and other items from Marshalls Department store in Stony Brook at 2:20 p.m. March 16, police said. Otmanetani and Mosba then stole $1,630 worth of clothing, shoes, houseware and other items from a Marshalls in Melville at 3:39 p.m. March 16, police said. She was arrested and charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property over $1,000.
  • March 11: Daniel Estevez, 33, of Walden, sold cocaine for money at 3:48 p.m. March 11 at Broadhollow Road in Melville, police said. He was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: 2 oz narcotic drug, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
