Huntington Police Blotter: Loaded Glock Found In Man's Car
The Glock was previously reported stolen in Georgia, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Nov. 15 through Nov. 21.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Robert Brown Jr., 37, of Huntington Station, was driving a red BMW in Huntington Station at 7:48 p.m. Nov. 19 when he was stopped due to the strong smell of marijuana coming from his car, police said. Officers found marijuana and a loaded Glock that was reported stolen in Georgia, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: firearms, and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana on Nov. 19.
- Marques Scott, 26, of Huntington Station, was found to be in possession of one-eighth of an ounce or more of crack cocaine and fentanyl at Clifford Court and Foxwood Drive in Huntington Station at 7:05 p.m. Nov. 17, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of narcotic drug and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 17.
- Malcolm Scott, 27, of Central Islip, was found to be in possession of one-eighth of an ounce or more of crack cocaine and fentanyl at Clifford Court and Foxwood Drive in Huntington Station at 7:05 p.m. Nov. 17, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of narcotic drug and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 17.
