Huntington Police Blotter: Macy's Employee Steals From Store

She did so by rigging the store's computer system, police say. ALSO: A man tried swerving into a police car and driving away, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from Dec. 8 through Dec. 14.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Hermik Bedrossian, 56, of East Northport, was employed at the Macy's at 180 Walt Whitman Road when she rigged the computer system so that she was able to take items and return them for cash, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: property value over $1,000 on Dec. 14.
  • Bryan Boyce, 23, of Huntington, was driving on Oakwood Road in Huntington Station when an officer tried to pull him over for being reckless, police said. Boyce allegedly swerved in an attempt to hit a police car, which the officer behind the wheel was able to avoid, police said. Boyce tried driving away, but was eventually pulled over, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree flee officer in motor vehicle on Dec. 9.
