Huntington Police Blotter: Man Attacks 3 Nassau Police Officers
ALSO: Two Huntington Station men were charged in connection with possession of drugs, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Oct. 11 through Oct. 17.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Rafael Salcedo, 22, of Huntington Station, was found to have psychedelic mushrooms weighing more than 625 milligrams, LSD weighing more than five milligrams, a digital scale and drug packaging when officers executed a search warrant on West 19th Street in Huntington Station at 7:20 a.m. Oct. 15, police said. Salcedo also intended to sell LSD, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 15.
- Raymond Salcedo Jr., 54, of Huntington Station, sold cocaine on at least three dates between Sept. 23 and Oct. 8, police said. Police executed a search warrant on West 19th Street in Huntington Station at 7:20 a.m. Oct. 15 and found Salcedo Jr. to have cocaine weighing more than half an ounce, digital scales and drug packaging, police said. He was arrested and charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of controlled substance: narcotic drug, third-degree criminal possession of controlled substance: intent to sell and criminal possession of controlled substance/narcotics on Oct. 15.
- Brian Aparicio, 31, of Huntington Station, was involved in an altercation with at least three Nassau County police officers trying to arrest him on East 12th Avenue, Huntington Station, at 12:30 a.m. Oct. 15 police said. One officer was struck in the head, while another officer suffered bruises and cuts, police said. Aparicio tried to flee, police said. He was arrested and charged with three counts of second-degree assault: intent to cause physical injury to officer on Oct. 15.
- Michael Wisnieski, 34, of Huntington Station, was found to have a Mastercard previously reported lost or stolen in April, a metal knuckle knife and a crack pipe with cocaine residue on West 11th Street, Huntington Station, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon: previous conviction, seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: possession of credit card on Oct. 14.
- Taquile Hamilton, 24, of Huntington Station, entered a Foley Place, Huntington Station, home without permission around 12:55 a.m. Aug. 21 and stole a pair of sneakers, cash, a lock box and a social security card, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary: dwelling on Oct. 14.
- William Kearns, 33, of Cold Spring Harbor, had his car searched by officers in Huntington at 1:20 a.m. Oct. 13, and the officers found a switchblade knife, multiple hypodermic needles, as well as Klonopin and Adderall pills not in their original prescription containers, police said. He was arrested and charged with possession of hypodermic instrument, fourth-degree criminal possession of weapon: firearm/weapon, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 13.
- Emilly Salazar, 42, of Huntington Station, punctured the rear passenger side tire of an acquaintance's car and then pointed a knife at her at around 8:20 a.m. Oct. 12 on New York Avenue in Huntington Station, police said. She was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing: weapon and criminal mischief: intent to damage property on Oct. 12.
