Huntington Police Blotter: Man Attacks And Injures Someone

The aggressor shoved the person against a wall and threw a punch, cutting their head and causing a lip contusion, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from July 26 through Aug. 1.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Donna Wallace, 41, of Huntington Station, was found to have cocaine weighing more than 500 mg packaged in a manner consistent with the sale of narcotics, a digital scale and U.S. currency when officers executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Tuthill Street, Huntington Station, at 5:50 a.m. July 31, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: scales on July 31.
  • Brandon Abt, 40, of Holbrook, had a concentrated cannabis vape cartridge in his pocket, which officers found while searching him, police said. Abt refused to place his hands behind his back to be handcuffed by tensing his arms against his body, police said. He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance on July 30.
  • Noor Ahmadzada, 63, of Dix Hills, was recklessly driving a 2000 White Sea Ray Sundancer vessel at Duck Island Point in Northport Bay, Huntington, while he was drunk, police said. His breath reeked of alcohol, his eyes were glassy, and he failed both field sobriety and chemical breath tests, police said. He was brought to the Huntington Harbormaster Office for processing, police said. He was arrested and charged with operate vessel while intoxicated on July 29.
  • Darian McGee, 46, of Huntington Station, held a hammer in a threatening manner while telling someone he was going to injure them at a Huntington Station home, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing: weapon on July 28.
  • Ulises Mejia, 36, of Huntington Station, was driving a 2010 Toyota southeast on East Rogues Path in Huntington Station without a driver's license, police said. At the corner of East Rogues Path and Albermarle Drive, Mejia pushed someone against a wall, causing a cut to their head, police said. He also punched them in the lip, causing a contusion, police said. Mejia was arrested and charged with third-degree assault w/ intent to cause physical injury and motor vehicle license violation: no license on July 28.
  • Anthony Sands, 39, of Huntington, was driving a stolen 2006 Honda motorcycle when he was involved in a crash on Maplewood Road in Huntington Station, police said. His license was already suspended, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: property value over $1,000 and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation: more than three suspensions on July 28.
