Huntington Police Blotter: Man Beats Up Victim & Robs Him
A man, who had an accomplice, knocked a man to a ground, repeatedly punched him and stole his backpack; plus more Huntington arrests: SCPD.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from July 16 through July 20.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
- Derek Lewis, 62, of Huntington Station, allegedly threatened someone he knew with a kitchen knife while having a fight with him and was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing: weapon on July 20 in Huntington Station.
- Robert Balducci, 25, of Melville, allegedly drove a 2018 Nissan eastbound on West Jericho Turnpike with a suspended license and was arrested in Huntington and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on July 18.
- Lamond Edwards, 17, of Huntington Station, allegedly, with an accomplice, approached a man from behind and knocked him to the ground, repeatedly punched him and stole a black backpack before fleeing. He was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery: aided by another on July 18 in Huntington Station.
- Christopher Walsh, 37, of Northport, allegedly threatened someone via text message and was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment: communicate threat on July 18 in Huntington.
- Fredi Serrano-Mejia, 38, of Deer Park, allegedly drove without a license at the intersection of Birchwood Drive and Pidgeon Hill Road in Huntington Station and was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation: 3 > suspensions and motor vehicle license violation: no license on July 17.
- Tracy Burke, 25, of Roosevelt, allegedly violated an order of protection and was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal contempt on July 16 in Huntington Station.
