Huntington Police Blotter: Man Caught Selling Cocaine
He sold cocaine twice in the span of a week, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Oct. 25 through Oct. 31.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Esequiel Hernandez, 34, of Huntington Station, drove a 2003 Toyota Camry eastbound on West 19th Street in Huntington Station at around 4:20 a.m. Oct. 28 while drunken, police said. Hernandez failed to stay in his lane, and officers determined he was drunk when speaking to him, police said. He was arrested and charged with DWI with a previous conviction in 10 years (a felony) and operating motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 on Oct. 28.
- Jordell Edwards, 32, of Huntington Station, sold cocaine for cash twice between Oct. 15 and Oct. 22 on New York Avenue in Huntington Station, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug on Oct. 27.
