Huntington Police Blotter: Man Faces Forcible Touch Charge

ALSO: A man who entered a Huntington home without permission was also in possession of credit cards previously reported stolen, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Sept. 13 through Sept. 19.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Patrick Trimble, 62, of Melville, was stopped as part of a traffic stop while driving a 2011 Audi on Lowndes Avenue in Huntington Station at 2:45 p.m. Sept. 16, police said. Trimble had a suspended license and incorrect license plate on his car, police said. He consented to a search, and officers found a stun gun in his car, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of weapon: firearm/weapon on Sept. 16.
  • Witold Wrzosek, 76, of Melville, grabbed the left breast of a female on July 26 in Elwood, police said. He was arrested and charged with forcible touch: intimate parts on Sept. 15.
  • Derrick Loyde, 34, of Huntington, entered a Columbia Street, Huntington, home without permission to do so at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 14, police said. He also possessed two credit cards that had been previously reported stolen earlier in the month, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: possession of credit card on Sept. 14.
