Huntington Police Blotter: Man Kicks Police Officer In The Face
ALSO: Three men with firearms and ammo clips were arrested, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Jan. 24 through Jan. 30.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Angel Herion, 57, of Huntington, was found to be in possession of cocaine weighing more than 500 milligrams and scales at 6 a.m. Jan. 29 on Broadway in Huntington, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 29.
- Matthew Bruce, 45, of Huntington Station, was pulled over by police on Peachtree Lane in Huntington Station at 2 p.m. Jan. 28, police said. When Bruce was told he was being arrested in connection with active bench warrants, he kicked the officer in the face, police said. Bruce was in possession of Naloxone strips, crack cocaine and amphetamines, police said. He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, second-degree harassment: physical contact, second-degree obstruct governmental administration, and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Jan. 28.
- Ronald Albano, 62, of Hicksville, was in his vehicle with the driver's side door open with his penis exposed in a public parking lot at 12:05 p.m. Dec. 23, police said. Albano masturbated in front of people at the Park and Ride in Melville, police said. He was arrested and charged with lewdness: expose body in public on Jan. 25.
- Dedrick Austin, 27, of Medford, was found to have a loaded Glock and 9 mm handgun that were previously reported stolen, as well as an ammo clip, while in a 2021 Dodge in Huntington at 12:40 a.m. Jan. 24, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: firearms on Jan. 24.
- Tavon Pascal, 24, of Huntington Station, was found to have a loaded Glock and handgun that were previously used in a crime, police said. Pascal also had an ammo clip during his arrest at 12:40 a.m. Jan. 24 in Huntington, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: firearms on Jan. 24.
- Jihad Alexander, 30, of Copiague, was found to be in possession of a Glock handgun, 9 mm handgun, an ammo clip and marijuana at 12:40 a.m. Jan. 24 in Huntington, police said. The guns were previously reported stolen, police said. Alexander tried to run out of the police station while in custody, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree escape and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana on Jan. 24.
