  1. An East Northport man was killed during Family Weekend visit to Marist College. Paul Kutz, 53, father of three, was visiting his son when the incident happened. A homeless man opened fire after arguing with staffers in the lobby of a Courtyard by Marriot hotel and a stray bullet hit Kutz. Roy Johnson Jr., 35, was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was ordered held without bond. (Huntington Now)
  2. A catalytic converter was stolen from minivan in Jericho. Police are looking for three suspects who committed the theft from a 2003 Honda Odyssey on Monday morning at around 4:15 a.m. Detectives asked anyone with information about the incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.
