Huntington Police Blotter: Man Masturbates In Public

This week's Huntington arrest report includes a man publicly masturbating, a woman pawning a ring that wasn't hers and more: Suffolk police.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from August 5 through August 11.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Matthew Edwards Jr., 52, of Huntington Station, had a stolen credit card, and was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: credit card on August 11, police said.
  • Deanna Morales, 19, of Huntington, broke a car's rear window, and was arrested and charged with criminal mischief: reckless property damage of more than $250 on August 10, police said.
  • Dirrell Jeffers, 30, of Huntington Station, drove with a suspended license at Ninth Avenue and Craven Street while in possession of cannabis oil and a burning marijuana joint, and was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on August 9, police said.
  • Michael Rains, 51, homeless, masturbated while walking on a Huntington Station street, and was arrested and charged with lewdness: intent to be seen and resisting arrest on August 9, police said.
  • Jaclyn Maggio, 34, of Huntington Station, pawned a ring that didn't belong to her, and was arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property on August 8, police said.
  • Phillip Grayson, 35, of Uniondale, drove with a license that had been suspended three or more times while having a marijuana cigarette in plain view, and was arrested in Huntington and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle: three or more suspensions and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana: public on August 7, police said.
  • Carlos Santiago, 46, of Mahopac, was involved in a motor vehicle crash where he caused property damage and drove off, and was arrested and charged with operator leaving scene with property damage accident on August 6, police said.
  • Raquel Tello, 53, of Brentwood, left the scene of a crash at Commack Road, and was arrested and charged with operator leaving scene with property damage accident on August 6, police said.
  • Dequanta Threatts, 20, of Huntington Station, had a stolen credit card, marijuana and crack cocaine, and was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: credit card, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana: public and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on August 5, police said.
  • Desmond Allen, 47, of Huntington Station, had a scale, ecstasy pills, and refused to be handcuffed. He was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: package, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest on August 5, police said.
