Huntington Police Blotter: Man Pushes Person Into Glass Door
A man pushing someone into a glass door & a man pushing a woman to the ground to steal money are pair of Huntington arrests: Suffolk Police.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from July 7 through July 13.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
- Nery Menendez, 51, of Huntington Station, allegedly bought liquor from an unlicensed distributor in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with purchase from an unauthorized seller on July 13.
- Humberto Gonzalez, 34, of Brooklyn, allegedly drove eastbound on Pulaski Road in Huntington knowing his license was suspended for a prior arrest, and was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and motor vehicle license violation: no license on July 12.
- Michael Lapertosa, 32, of East Northport, allegedly used another person's checking account to pay his utility bill and created a check that was deposited into his own account with funds from someone else's account, and was arrested and charged with second-degree identity theft: obtain goods on July 12.
- Joseph Ramirez, 26, of Huntington, allegedly pushed a woman to the ground and stole money from her backpack, and was arrested and charged in Huntington Station with third-degree robbery on July 12.
- Thomas Santamaria, 51, of Huntington Station, allegedly had a billy club in the passenger seat of his car, as well as marijuana, and was arrested and charged in Huntington Station with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana on July 11.
- Christopher Hines, 38, of Huntington, allegedly drove eastbound on Lebkamp Avenue with a license that had been suspended more than three times, and was arrested and charged in Huntington with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: 3 > suspensions on July 11.
- Walter Hampton, 36, of Huntington Station, allegedly shoved someone into a glass panel door, causing their head to break the glass, and was arrested and charged in Huntington Station with assault: recklessly cause physical injury on July 10.
- Levar Butts, 40, of Huntington, allegedly had 500 milligrams or more of cocaine, refused to leave the passenger seat when the driver he was with got pulled over and then motioned as if he had a weapon, and police smelled the marijuana coming from the car. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotics/drugs with intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana on July 9.
- Shamel Wilkens, 39, of Huntington Station, allegedly punched someone in the face and threatened them, and was arrested and charged with second-degree harassment: physical contact and unlawful possession of marijuana on July 8.
- Robert Keeler, 55, of Holbrook, allegedly took money as a deposit to install a fence despite having no intention of completing the work, and was arrested and charged in Huntington with petty larceny on July 7.
